|
|
I'm planing to buy 15" whells from Alfa 155 2.0. 16V Sport pack to put on my Alfa 33 1.5 i.e(series 3).
Wheels are 6,5x15" PCD is 4x98 like in mine AR 33.
Here is the pic of simmilar wheels...
Will they fit without modifications and can I go with 185/55-15(wich I prefer for bumpy roads) or 195/50-15(recomended) tyres ??
My Alfa is regullar one without lowering or such mods..
Any expiriences...??? _________________

Hi
From memory you need to modify the wheels slightly. The hole in the centre is a slightly smaller diameter on the 155 wheels.
All the best

Our 155 wheels slotted over the hubs after a little stuggle. You'll need longer wheel bolts and in our case, they helped pull the wheels over the hubs. The clearance between our rims and the rear suspension traling arms is minimal (-1 cm). I really advise 195/50's. Good luck! |

Yes, 155 S2 wheels look very good on the 33 - far better than aftermarket. |

Hi all
Had to resort to a bearing scraper to open out the centre when I fitted Lancia rims on my series 2. Tedious but achieveable . I've forgotten the exact figures but there is a slight difference in that bore. As for 195/50/15s,well, got them on daughters car and i LOVE them. No tramlining,no loss of feel(which you usually get from overtyreing) and heaps of grip when you need it. Can't wait to get some on my car

The centre bore on the 155 is about 56mm. The centre bore for 33 is 56.5mm, hence the 'interference fit'. (56mm ish, I know there is deffinetly 0.5mm differnce between the two)
I fitted some OZ superturismos to my 16V. They came from a Lancia Dedra, which also has the 56mm centre bore. These wheels had removable centres, which I had machined out. It only cost £10 (from memory) and the chap had it done in an hour. Afterwards, it all fitted beautifully, with the wheels locating perfectly, which must be worth a tenner. _________________ Regards
