Can the heads of an 8v fit a 16v? Leave the electronics out. If so, the conversion of 16v to 8v QV would be a brisk.

Hi there,

no you can't,as the 16v head's have an oil way at the bottom which feed's back to the sump, plus the exhaust outlet's are in a different place and the piston's are different,as there is insert's for the four valve's as oposed to the two valve's in the 8v valve head.plus why would you want to anyway, when 16v engine has 137 BHP standard

sorry chap

Would like to check once more on the subject. The 16 and 8V engine blocks are different because of the oil way?? (different pistons and exhaust outlet position not in question).

thanks
