Guys,

These are for sale at the moment on www.misco.co.uk for thirty odd quid special offer.

Also, if registered before July they offer free updates for life and these normally cost £4.95 a month! Looks like a bargain.

Please note, for those going to SPA or into French Territory (not sure about other European Countries) these are highly illegal and having one in your possession may result in a gaol sentence and certain confiscation of both the unit and your passport.

Now, this isn't a discussion about the rights and wrongs of this kind of thing... if you like the idea then I think it's a great deal... if you don't like the idea then don't buy one.

Bob

One way of extending our holiday mate!

Seems like a good deal though, I take it they're legal in this country then?

Did you get one Bobbber? If so good as it looks?

I'm very tempted.

I got an S3 neo a few years back after winning 6 points from the rozzers, it was worth it at the time but they ain't very good at spotting mobile laser and radar hot spots, but for gatso's , peek, truvelo and average speed cameras they are fine.

Well it seems as if my snooper just paid for itself twice over.

I usually forget to take it anywhere, but had it on on the way to Gaydon.

Accidently let the 33 slip a bit above the national limit on the m40 Twisted Evil and it went off. Backed off gently thinking 'where's the camera' then saw the filth with a mobile van on a bridge in the distance.

Been sweating for a couple of weeks as i wasn't sure i'd wiped off the speed in time, but fingers crossed all is ok. I believe that the rozzers have to get a ticket to you within 14 days else it's void- is that true?? Postal strikes Confused

From previous experience in the matter of point collecting I it normally takes 2 weeks to come through but I have read somewhere that the police get up to 6 months to dish the speeding ticket out. Rolling Eyes

They can take as long as they want to issue the ticket.

But we can't take as long as we want to pay up...

John... I've heard that 14 days banded about by LOTS of people, although I have no hard evidence.

I'll go look for some.

I think the 14 days thing is the time which it normally takes to get them sent out.
Its just a rule of thumb thing, if you havent heard anything after 14 days its very likely that your in the clear.
Although in some areas Ive heard its a month.
