|

Looking for a set of 1.7 16v heads to put on my 8v block.
Apparently i will also need a 16v sump n crossmember.
Thinking about it i will probably need the pulleys as well or can i use 8v pulleys, as i have a few verniers.
If anyone can help, i would appreciate it. _________________

I got heads and sump. Prob. got cross member - can check. No pulleys on camshafts though, but practically new tensioners and belts. I take it you're going to want the sump-head corrugated oil channels aswell. _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV

Hey Alex, I thought that you needed to get the pistons milled out to accommodate the valves, like the 16v pistons are naturally, but then I heard about some guy that did what you are trying and didn’t have to, have you checked? _________________ x2 33 16v

Im not going to be using the standard 8v pistons. Going to get some new forged ones to fit, so shouldnt be a problem, fingers crossed lol. _________________
