On an RHD car it's under the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel (it's a 35-40mm tall PLASTIC rectangular relay box, one like are on the fuseboard).

Just opening it up and giving a blast of compressed air then some WD 40 may well fix it or alternatively nick one from a scrapyard (or as I call it purchasing without a financial transaction occurring. But I'm not the sort of man who when I get a new variety of car goes to a yard and leaves with every possible relay in my pocket. Plus Howard doesn't mind coz I do plenty of business with him).I wouldn't get caught though otherwise you will probably be savaged by either a Rotweiler/Dingo or a knuckle dragger called 'Mick' a world-wide phenomenon with a slightly higher distribution being found 'under the arches'(providing he's not 'Over The Road') who can strip threads on a stainless M10 bolt with a 12" socket bar, or with his hands if slightly unhappy/disgruntled (say if he's just been barred again from 'Over The Road').

Yep, those man-sized dogs always scare me shitless. When they start to trot in your direction with a foaming mouth its time to pack up the tools and go. Or otherwise just forget the tools.

Ever tried to take a part from under the footwell only to look up face-to-face with a dingo called Shaft? Nope, niether have I; but the thought...

What also gets me are those accident damaged cars with the hair and skin still stuck in the windscreen. The deformed dashboards where the knees penetrated the plastic...

That is the later series 3. Pig to find at first (even worse if it doesnt work so you cannot go round trying to find the relay that is clicking). Earlier series 3 cars have the relay in the fusebox (different relay)

All the best
