.
Dear all, I have got myself into some mess. Ordered C&C fast road cams for 1.7 QV, came the wrong ones. A pair meant for the alfasud with mech tappets. Bought the Ti housing but valve too short. Skimmed 3mm off the cam side of the head and finally valves reached cams. Timing belt have to be shortened by 2 teeth.
Problem
Now my car has inadequate power based on fatory cam setting. Advanced one tooth and got much better respose. But 2500-3000 has a loud bubbly sound. Speed is quite decent but quite similar to standard 1.7 QV.
BIG question
How do I set my cams right? |

C & B doesn't entertain issues. Or at least that's what the dealer(my friend told me). _________________ Each time I speed I say, "Dear lord, make me fast and accurate..." |
