Hi All, (33 1.7IE Series III)

The light in the boot (the round one) has never come on. I wonder how it is supposed to work.

Is it supposed to be a purely manual affair (by turning on the light with a twist of the casing), or is there some detection of when the boot is open (I can't find anything!)

Taking the light out of its hole (with a yank!) reveals two spade connectors to the rear of the unit, but I'm not getting any voltage between them.

Any ideas?!?!?!

Thanks!

Same goes for the light in the glovebox. I guess Alfa knew they couldn't design a reliable switch to turn the light on only when the boot was open, so they had to make it work off the headlights instead. Laughing
