Hi to all,
early (very cold) morning today and my tank lock decided to snap on me.
Therefore i am on reserve and the tank is locked.

Any ideas before i use violence (screwdriver-would not like to do that to the alfa) or the garage near by? the lock "rotates" but it does not unlock...

have to fix it before the snowstorm comes in..

Cheers,
Ak

are u sure u havent "locked" it by mistake???i once did without realizing it and then i wondered why the hell it jsut kept on rotating...if it actually is jsut cuz of the coldness then bring the car in a warm garage if u have enough fuel if not jsut buy some oil and oil the sides...eventually the oil should sink down and brake teh ice....or jsut use anti freeze..

p.s. be really careful cuz if there's a bit of water in your tank now that its on reserve then it might freeze and give u major problems

It's probably very easy to pick the lock. The 33 is exceptionally easy to open with a screewdriver. Smile
