What things can i do to tune up my engine a bit more without changing the engine itself...i know i can put in things like a sport chips, sporty filter and air intake thingy (i really have no idea about engine tuning)...so if somebody can just give me a couple of examples that would be great...also how much would these things change the power of the engine...p.s. i have a 1.7 ie engine if that helps anything..thanks

I have a 1.7 IE too, but with the Jetronic injection system, so chip tuning is not possible for me...Unfortunately! Crying or Very sad

But I have a CSC cross-over manifold and end-pipe on mine, and especially the cross-over manifold gives a few more hp! I also have a K&N filter, but I cant tell whether it gives any increase in power or not...

But the cross-over manifold is definitely recommendable!! It gives the engine a more "healthy" sound as well...I paid app. 300 USD (2000 DKK) incl. shipping at Gazella Autotech...

thanx alot...ill try the problem is that i really wanna push it to the end...i mean i wanna get about 15ohp's if it's possible and i wanna find out how...but ill research some more..hopefully something smart will turn up
