Hi Guys and Girls,
I've just recently restored a 33 P4 and its an awesome car. but like
alot of you i have noticed some strange noise's.
I know that when i got on full lock it make a clonking noise that is fine,
but it seems that at low revs (below 2500-3000) i get alot of
vibrations and juddering. I don't think its normal???
One other thing, on the throttle bodies there is an adjustment in the centre, what does it do?
Thanks
Danny P

I think the first thing to look at is the mountings on the viscous coupling (behind the gearbox at the front of the propshaft).
If I remember rightly, they are a sandwich of steel and rubber, and if worn cause the clonking noise you mention - I think you are likely to get some noise on full lock whatever their condition though.
