Hello,
Are Series 2 and Series 3 front hubs identical?
I notice that wheel bearings have different part no.s but is this more to do with driveshaft and abs differences.

If your thinking of using another 33s wheels then its not a problem, the same goes for the brake's, you can swap series 2 for 3, but as for bearings I don't know although Id be suprised if they were different. _________________ PHAT 33 |

Thanks Oggie,
The query is due to the need to change the strut carrier part.
The threads of my series 2 carriers are naff and I have a spare set of series 3's that I can use rather than helicoil the series 2 set.

There are a couple of part numbers for the hub carriers for series 2 or 3 and one of them is the same for both so it looks like it should be okay? _________________ Owner's Club 33 Registrar. Now from P4 & S2 1.7 QV
