Hi just joined the forum and just bought this Alfa!

I almost cried when I viewed it yesterday... I had to save it from it's misery.

The shell is absolutely mint, when I say this I mean it could have been in a time warp! No rot, you can hang off the wheel arches it's that good.

The guy I bought it from was a decent enough bloke but he and his mates had decided to take it track daying and ripped the interior out and skipped the lot!!! And judging by the standard of the interior left it must have been like new!

Before the removing of the interior and attempted mechanical cruelty at the track day, it had been garaged for 18 years with no expense spared by some old boy. I honestly think it was concourse it's still that good after such anarchy.

Anyway I have the car now and first I will restore the engine to it's former glory (It's missing and sounds pretty sick, probably because the air filter was removed to provide more power round the track......!) I will then provide it with an interior... I hope to have this all done for Auto Italia at Brooklands in the spring!
