My passenger side electric window is dead, drivers side works fine......Could it be a faulty switch?

or a faulty relay/fuse on relay, they are near the steering column on a 16v and are sided, to test swap them over.

I had the same problem. I took off the door upholstery and then tried to detach the window elevator but gave up because couldn't get the upper calble off. Then just put everything back together and now it works! Laughing Looks like there was just some contact problem at the wires connector.

my passenger side window somtimes sticks when fully open , I give the switch a toggle and it works fine after about six or seven switches, Paul Hide recently swapped the motor out on one of his cars , it takes a few hours to do but give him a pm Im sure he would explain the process if the motor is dead.

Simply swap the switches and if the other window no longer works you know it is the switch.
