Standard Recaro seats but an expensive option when new so quite a rare item. I do get them in from time to time so i'll let you know if a set comes up. |
And very good they are too, much comfier than the wretched things in the company pool MINIs I have to drive. |

Where does the front seat origin from? Or are they standard? I need some sportier seats with adjustable back for my own SportWagon |

Disaster struck!!! On the way to Devon to meet Lee & Charlie on wednesday, the lovely sw snapped a cam-belt! Limped into a service station on the M5, got AA'ed home, then jumped into a different 33 & got down to Devon that way. Now got to fit new belts on my spare 16v 42k engine & fit it next week. Hopefully after all this i can actually enjoy driving the thing! |

Auto Italia are keen to feature the sw early next year along with 1 or 2 other 33's, looks like Rich B is in there with his mean 33, will keep you guys posted if a third slot is confirmed. |

Flat4-
My wife had a '97 145 clover for a little while and i really like those wheels, and thought that they would really suit a 33, although I've never seen it done YET- go for it.

It will do
Yep those 45 profile came in for a lot of stick from the 155 road testers. Still, it near 15 years since the first widey SP came out. It's become the norm now..
I've been toying with popping these 145 Cloverleaf 15" on my Mk1 Greeny. Anyone done this? Wouldn't go any taller, might would shake the 23 yr old body to bits!
I wonder what would this MKII wagon look like with them instead?

Yeah i love the look of the 16" speedlines, makes for bumpy ride though as tyres are so low profile. |

Looks great
Black AR155 Speedlines do go well with the body colour
All it needs to show those wheels off properly is a 'sud large disc conversion at the rear |

Thanks guys, always good to hear good comments. The wheels are 16" speedlines from the 155 sportpack wide body, you need a 5mm spacer for the rear & the fronts need to be machined out by just 2mm to fit over the 33 hub. My suspension is totally standard, but the 4 shocks are new so she does sit as high as was designed to, no rubbing at all although the fronts are close! If you want a Nardi steering wheel then let me know, i have a few spare. I'm working on the interior, should have it within 3 weeks for you. Thanks again for the kind remarks, it makes the work worthwhile. |
Yep, those speedlines definately suit you Sportswagon. Your hard work has paid off. I'm interested in the Nardi wheel. What do you want for it? Do you want to email me? Cheers, Nnamdi (AL33NUT) |
